Art Attack

Art Attack was been the first youth exchange organized by Federsid placed in Palermo from 16th to 23rd May 2015. The main purpose was to make possible and easy, using Arts and its representations, the knowledge and diffusion of social inclusion , breaking down homophobia, racism and disintegration. Also it included to develop eco friendly attitudes making Art, through commons items. Thanks to innovative teaching technique, simple and intuitive, the stakeholders was able to discuss, understanding the main purpose of the project, because stimulated to be active european citizens, envolving soft skills as well, developing specific job knowledge and social entrepreneurship expertises. The youth exchange involved 28 participants between 23-28 years old come from 7 Nations: Italy, Portugal, Czech Republic, Spain Bulgaria and Hungary; each Partner had guaranteed also the participation of stakeholders educationless, with disabilities and social obstacles increasing inclusion awareness. During the project, participants with and without disabilities, coming from different cultural background and different socio-economical contexts had cooperated in a supportive and inclusive atmosphere implementing the following activities: - Group Buildings activities - Workshop, brainstorming inspired by values of the project., multidisciplinar and creativity learning, ICT skills. - Sightseeing of Palermo, visiting awesome monuments and buildings. -Cultural exchange through inter-cultural evenings. -Good practice exchange reinforcing partnership relation for the future. The concrete results of the project and its objectives for participants, volunteers and local community was been realized through the exposure, the writing and pubblication of a final booklet on the project, the realization of a webradio programme and the sharing of a DVD containig photos, videos and reflections.
