The project "work with children and youngsters" has three receiving organization, which will host 5 volunteers. The volunteers have to be - at least - 20 years old.Part of the organiszation are "Youth Leasure Work" and "Social work in schools" in Blaustein. That will be the place where the volunteer is working. These are places where we are working with kids in the age of 7 till 14 and where we also work with kids witch are not willig to go to school. We are sure that the work of a volunteer from an other country is an enrichment for everyone.The volunteer should like to work with kids, sports and new medias. Perfect would be also fun by playing theater or games. Important is a good basic knowledge of German language, the kids are mostly not able to communicate in other languages than German. Our fields of work with youngsters are:- organisation of leisure-time offers for youngsters- homework support- active work with groups and sport events- social work at schoolIn all of this fields we do have professionals at work.The volunteer does co-work in this fields. Mostly during sports, media or open group meetings.The volunteers will at the Mensa am Schulzentrum Erbach take part in preparing breakfast and lunch for and with the kids at school. At the school garden the volunteers will plant, sow and harvest fruits, vegetables and flowers. Both is part of the normal school lessons at Schulzentrum Erbach.At the social group work in Ulm und Mehrgenerationenhaus Langenau is the main goal to support kids which have problems with their social competences. The main objective of this project is supporting the kids in difficult situations and give some advice in handling their lifes. We want the kids to be open for the cross-cultural communication and contact. The volunteer gets an idea of working in a social area in Germany. Hopefully they get to know each others culture.
