Aquanet: Expert training for Proffessions and Key sectors in Efficiente Water Management

The project tackles certain needs of continuous training for professions and key sectors related to the effective water management. This training is based on transfer of innovation, already validated by two pilot projects of international reference developed one of them in the framework of the LIFE Programme (www.life-optimizagua.org)and the other one under the Leonardo da Vinci framework and whose results are the bases pedagogical and didactic to be transferred by this project proposal ("multimedia training for workers" virtual platform, http://leonardo.svalero.es).The project try to offer a didactic material and support tools for the cross-training in water and environment matter aimed at professional training centres, as well as, to reinforce the institutional presence of the project in the International Exhibition, EXPO ZARAGOZA 2008 under the thematic axis "water and sustainable development" to promote through its events of international scope and renowned mass-media, a great disseminating impact and the large-scale valorisation of the project results.The association is multi-agent, with key organisms representing the suitable professional profiles of destination (agricultural, public local entities, local development organisms, professional training centres in agricultural matter and environment, agrarian associations). It is reinforced by the local co-financing of the Zaragoza Town Council. Finally, the association is geographically balanced and responds a double strategy: presence of countries of different EU geographical areas (South and North Europe), and, the need of a better management of the hydric resource in those zones where there is the highest water consumption and the highest water scarcity (South Europe), combined with the participating of two countries recently adhered to the EU and in which it is advisable to introduce innovation linked to quality water.Results:-Manual in 6 languages for the professional training in effective water management for agriculture and local entities.-Didactic guide in six languages aimed at the European Educative Community as cross-training of models, good practices and workshops promoting the effective water use.-Virtual platform for e-learning training that will integrate the contents and the training offer elaborated.-Creation of a cellule of international prospective with more than 200 entities for the permanent data updating to the technical evolution.-Specific dissemination products in different languages (brochures, video, web...)
