PROJECT
FINISHED
Virgen del Remedio Primary School is located in a small village wthin the province of Alicante (Spain), it is a small centre with 121 pupils and 16 teachers. The main objective of the project is to improve the quality in the teaching-learning process and increase either the teachers and the pupils' motivation, and that is why we consider it is very important the school's participation in a European project, where it is possible to achieve new knowledge and share experiences in the field of education. It is intended teachers know new methodologies in which the learner is the centre of his or her own learning, where meaningful activities are carried out so as to fulfill a final task, where learners with different capabilities are integrated and cooperative learning is promoted. In this sense, we are interested in the acquisition of different techniques which allow us to do projects where the new technologies are used to learn, share and disseminate our experiences. We think that in this way we can avoid school failure and besides this, it is also possible to enhance the teachers and learners' linguistic competence.Once these objectives are studied and taking into account the selection criteria, the participants in the project are the following:Carmen Mª Galipienso Navarro, Elena Falcó Verdú and Rafael Ferri Rufete. These are three mobilities for school education staff training that consider the following aspects: CLIL methodology, Task based approach projects and the use of ICT in class.During these mobilities the participants will do different reports where the experiences, activities and methodology are described. Later, a final report will be presented to the rest of the school teachers and the Erasmus + organization to be assessed. Once the project has been studied, it will be adapted, as much as we can, to our school. In the end, we will consider the impact of the project in our teachers and learners. And as we hope, this experience will help to open the doors of our school to other teaching and learning processes, lifestyles, cultures, etc. and what is more, the learning of foreignlanguages.
