Esperino EPAL Lefkadas is in first year of operation and in this context will seek to have full compliance with the European Strategy for Education and Training and the objectives of the ERASMUS+ program, to tackle common challenges such as: the european cooperation, skills shortage of human resources, the reduction of early school leaving etc. In this direction, our school, after deliberations, decided to actively participate in the design, implementation and execution of European programs, such as the proposal of this mobility project in Turkey. The specific objectives that our project hopes to achieve in relation to the needs of students, are: -obtain work experience in the field of vehicles and automotive industry -experience the operation of modern European companies in the automotive industry -inform about the recent vehicle sector developments -familiarization with a different cultural environment Regarding the teachers’ objectives of the proposed project, are: -qualitive training as regards the use of new ICT technologies in the teaching lab courses of the industry -familiarization with a different cultural environment -assimilation of good techniques, practices and laboratory courses teaching methodologies -integration of knowledge and skills, gained in their daily educational activity The proposed project will involve fifteen students of Esperino EPAL Lefkadas from vehicle sector. These students are usually people who have decided to attend Esperino EPAL both because of their inability to meet the demands of a Lyceum and the need to integrate as soon as possible in the labor market due to financial difficulties. The second flow will include five teachers of Esperino EPAL Lefkadas will have both the cognitive level and language skills to successfully complete the project monitoring. In the proposed plan, Esperino EPAL Lefkadas has the role of the sending organization and GOI the role of the host organization. The planned activities are related to monitoring, education and training of participants. The implementation methodology for the project concerns the acquisition of vocational training for students of vehicle sector in Istanbul, with their job observation, in particular to companies of the automotive industry and vocational schools laboratories. In addition, the training of the teaching staff of Esperino EPAL Lefkadas by monitoring operations and specifically the teaching process of the laboratory courses of vocational schools with the use of modern ICT technologies. Generally from the implementation and execution of the project is expected to: a. exploitation the achievements of the action from participants. b. positive effect of the Action Plan on the school’s environment. c. positive effect of knowledge and experiences embodied in the values and attitudes of participating teachers and students (changing older attitudes of teachers and students). d. ability of action for supporting wider and longer term developmental changes at school.
