The mobility project titled “Effective School Administration and Attractive Teaching with the use of New Technologies” under the frame of ERASMUS+ ΚΑ1 for school staff mobility, will last 12 months and concerns training mobility for 3 teachers of the 15th Dimotiko Sholeio of Patras. Receiving organisations are private organisations active in the field of education and training. Our vision is to support through school our pupils so as to develop their skills, their personality, their critical thinking and become tomorrow’s active citizens of the world having multicultural awareness, co operational attitude in international level and be ready to join the labour market inside and outside national borders. Taking into consideration the above our school aims at:1. Innovating and improving the quality of teaching and management2. Raise participants’ awareness and understanding of other cultures and countries3. Offering the opportunity to the participants and furthermore to school to build networks of international contacts4. Offering the opportunity to the participants, to the students and to all the staff members to develop a sense of European citizenship and identity5. Enhance participants’ foreign languages competenceThe training courses that will be attended and will contribute to the achievement of the targets are of two categories1. Training course for the improvement of digital skills will provide practical ideas on how teachers of all grades and subjects will embed technology in their everyday teaching.2. Training course for the improvement of leading skills in Primary Education aiming to increase knowledge and understanding of the approaches and strategies used in the Educational system of FinlandParticipants are teachers with motivation and clear goals for the mobility, willing to be active in the dissemination and to share the experience upon return, respecting the deadlines, available to communicate and cooperate with partners from other countries and for courses related to the enhancement of digital skills, willingness to embed in their everyday teaching activities ICT The mobility for the improvement of the management/leading competences concerns the headmaster and school counselors.A certification of attendance and a Europass mobility will be provided by the host organization.The project is expected to have positive and long lasting effects to the participants by strengthening their professional and personal profile. Those teachers of the school who will not take part to the mobility will share the outcomes as well and will be encouraged to do so another time. Students will in fact take benefit of the results as they will have teachers with new ideas and experiences ready to embed them in their teaching and give them that way a sense of internationalization. Finally the impact to school will be a wider cooperation with the local society and the educational community and the empowerment of its relationships with them, its promotion in local and European level ,the internationalization and the effective handling of diversity. Using Etwinning platform and through communication and cooperation with partners will ensure the lifelong effects of the project.
