Project "Improvement of English Teachers' competence" will be implemented at Rezekne Secondary School No.5, Rezekne, Latvia. The objectives of the project are to improve quality and efficiency of English teaching, to gain experience in international cooperation and to increase the competitiveness of the school. The project duration is 1 year.During this year, the planned events will be organized, the mobility participant will be selected and prepared, the mobility will be coordinated, the mobility results will be evaluated, disseminated in the city and beyond and will be integrated in the future school activities.Within the project, an English teacher will attend courses in Edinburgh, Scotland, which are organized by LFEE Europe in cooperation with Confluence Scotland. During 6 days he will improve his English skills, teaching experience, and understanding of the Scottish and British culture, as well as share experience with teachers from other European countries and establish contacts for future cooperation.As a result, the English teacher will get a new experience. Students will receive an effective training and improve their English language skills. Teachers will more actively pursue opportunities offered by Erasmus+ programme and engage in international projects. The school will gain experience in international project management. Finally, the school will improve its image and become more attractive to pupils, their parents and the local population.
