Anglais et nouvelles technologies à la maternelle
Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: May 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Our project is based on the recommendations of the Minister of Education: "It is in preschool that students forge their first language skills. At three, four and five years old, the ear is sensitive to differences in pronunciation. This age is also when pronunciation and articulation become fixed, and when children are best able to reproduce new sounds. It is during this period that the cultural, lexical and phonological references, supports-to-be for the learning of a language, are naturally built.” • First of all, the teachers will participate in a training course in the UK. • Then daily English sessions will be organized, starting with the 2015 school year. The teachers will prepare the students to learn English, by letting them hear another language using songs, nursery rhymes, and simple verbal exchanges. In addition, for variety, computer tools will be used. Mobile digital tools will enable recording and playback. These will facilitate international exchanges with other schools using the site eTwinning. In June 2016, a review of the school year, including an exhibition and slide shows, will take place, with the participation of our partners: parents, town councils, inspectors… The project will be continued in subsequent years based on the evaluation of our goal - improving the English language skills of our students We offered daily sessions of English in groups of 8 each week. The other levels have had awareness sessions and discovery of the UK, simple rhymes, the flags and the most representative monuments. Our actions have been reported in the newspaper and the News Bulletin ; English exhibition, food and taste English. we will continue this work in the coming years by developing systematic sessions from the others sections .
