We're aiming to improve the linguistic abilities of our pupils to help them become well balanced, curious and opened minded European citizens, ready to discover our European neighbours. To achieve this we will be active in three different areas: * Improvement of teachers's linguistic abilities in order to make them more self confident, precise and effective in their language teaching. Then they will be better models for the untutored ears of our pupils. * Development of new teaching skills and of innovative projects including the use of new technologies and more particularly of the e-Twinning platform. These projects will be specifically related to language teaching but could be applicable to other disciplines. We will thus improve our expertise for the benefit of all our pupils, better preparing them to pursue their initial training. * - A better knowledge of the European education systems (Irish and British initially but also those of our other European neighbors thanks to the platform e-Twinning). Following the participation in European stays and formations and by the installation of exchanges with our European colleagues (e-mail, forums, meetings…), we will adopt a reflexive attitude on our practices to make them evolve and make them more effective and more open.
