ALSOI - Assessment of Lifestyle Satisfaction in Occupational Integration

The project aims to produce the ALSOI method (and ALSOI scale) which will be primarily a questionnaire to be used in structured individual interviews, in evaluating the success of vocational training for disabled workers. The primary aim of this vocational inclusion is to improve the disabled clients' lifestyle and wellbeing. The ALSOI method will provide organisations with an objective way to assess and compare the disabled clients' own satisfaction. The phases for the project will be; comparison of vocational support networks, for the target group, in each partner country; comparison of structures, strategies and demographic statistics for vocational support; construction of the ALSOI method/scale; recruitment of volunteers from partner countries and initial piloting of the proposed method; standardisation across partner countries and evaluation of results (both individually and collectively). The outcome of the project is to be a standard method for use with the target group, which will give organisers of occupational support, the opportunity to evaluate the situation of new and existing clients & workers.A report on the applicability of the ALSOI method (to include a manual on how to conduct the ALSOI interview and how to read the results) will be produced towards the end of the project and will be made available in all partner languages (IS, IT, ES, EN).
