Competitiveness is today - more than ever- linked to strategic innovation, and innovation in this globalization age cannot be pursued like in the past, at the level of single enterprise or in a confined regional cluster. Cluster management bodies (CL.MB) can play a fundamental role toward innovation and competitiveness:• CL.MB are at the center of the “cluster ‘s triple helix system” and their activities can harness the resources and talents of industry, government, academia, to develop practical solutions toward strategic innovation• CL.MB can provide Governments with a strategic opportunity to address social and economic challenges through innovation support programmes.But only excellent cluster management can bring significant results, contributing to better competitiveness for enterprises, increased occupation, prosperity in Regions. ALPlastics will create proper conditions for a public/private cooperation and an efficient management of plastics clusters in the Alpine space. Achievements: WP1 - project preparation outputs:- draft and final team partnership composition- expression of interest document, written with the contribution of all partners- meeting organized in Italy- submission of the application form in its final versionWP2 - project management outputs: day-to-day strategic and operational management, administrative, legal and contractual coordination activities. Organization of the kick-off meeting.WP3 - information and publicity output: proposal of visual identity and logo, website registration, creation of the files for the dissemination plan.
