Key Action-1 Youth Mobility, youth Exchange project will be carried out in Canakkale between the dates of 22nd and 29th August, 2016 with the participation of five partner associations; Georgia, Slovenia, Portugal, Azerbaijan and Turkey. The participants will be six people from each partner countries consist of three young people all of whom are disadvantaged, one group leader, one mentally disabled young and one companion which is totally thirty voluntary people.The Project aims at increasing the inclusion of mentally disabled and disadvantaged young to social life, enhance their active citizenship, improve their employment capacity by providing them with competences and qualifications. Therefore we will promote their personal skills and evolution, reinforce their self confidence and capabilities, enhance their communication skills and entrepreneurship, support them to be included in intercultural interaction and improve their language skills. We’ll also contribute to their healthy life habits by making them join sport activities actively. We’ll support the young’s family in terms of awareness and information, raise awareness in favor of disabled and disadvantaged youth in the society. By supporting skills and capabilities in international dimension regarding these aims, we’ll provide their social, communal and employment improvement at European level. We’ll promote group leaders’ career development, contribute them to move their local studies to Europe, increase the variety and quality of their activities, improve their organizational skills and working capacities with disabled youth.The project whose international dimension is enhanced by the partnership with neighboring countries, includes preparation studies of participant youth and partner associations. The participants will also fulfill some tasks and responsibilities during the activities. Decision makers of these studies, management participation activities and the project will be again young participants. The preparations of the youth regarding cultural, psychological, linguistic and project tasks will be supported with information guide, conferences and meetings through social media.During the process of Project preparations, an advanced planning visit to which a group leader will attend representing each project partner will be realized. This meeting will be carried out on 9th and 10th July, 2016 for two days in Canakkale. In consequence of being mobility also with disadvantaged young people, group leaders and companions will be provided specially with logistic, educational and all technical issues. Every precaution to be taken will be tried beforehand during advanced planning visit therefore will be ready for use.In the project activities that will last 8 days, motivation of the participants will be increased through enjoyable and teaching rituals. In skill developing activities, psychomotor skills, creative thinking, problem solving, observation, entrepreneurship, communication and management, daily living skills will be gained to the participants. These activities aiming at social, cultural and personal development will enhance social inclusion of youth and employment capacities.In discussion workshops, the awareness of the participants about EU topics and disabilities will be reinforced, their entrepreneurship will be increased. In order to make the concept regarding the inclusion of disadvantaged and disabled youth clear that practice examples prepared by the participants will be observed. Debates will be done on these examples, levels of volunteering of the participants will be increased and the transfer of best practices will be ensured. Based on observations and experience of participants, sparring will be done on short video presentations and social inclusion of disabled youth. In order to enhance the tolerance of the participants for diversity, reduce cultural bias and for more inclusion to the cultural interaction, intercultural learning activities will be implemented.Physical activities will be done with an expert guidance to help all participants especially mentally disabled ones gain healthy living habits, increase physical fitness, enable social inclusion and team cooperation skills. Future planning meetings will be carried out to make the participants active also in the next steps of the project, acquired qualifications will be recognized during Youthpass information works and daily evaluations will be done.These activities will be applied with non-formal and in-formal learning techniques with a view to providing learning from each other and participant centered methods. After the project via works to be done with the families of the mentally disabled and local stakeholders, we'll have extended the final target group and the impact and the project will have a long-term extension. The participants will also receive Youthpass at the end of the project and be able to take part in the future cooperation with project partners
