ALL WITHOUT BORDERS 2.0
Start date: Jan 2, 2016, End date: Sep 1, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

All without borders 2.0 is a continuation of an EVS project taking place in Lorca (4 volunteers for 1 year from Lituania, Rumania, Italy and Egypt), where the volunteers (2 of them with fewer opportunities) will collaborate with the Youth organization Cazalla and will be involved in the activities of this organization: educational and leisure time activities based on principles of non-formal education with young people from the locality. Cazalla has close collaboration with local associations, schools and local and regional officials organisms where volunteers can develop their activities and propose their own initiatives on issues like promoting tolerance and against racism, intercultural learning, informational workshops on Erasmus+ Programme and EVS in particular, etc…They will also have the opportunity to learn more about different mobilities of learning, such as courses, youth exchanges conducted by Cazalla with other European partners.Mainly the volunteers try to offer to other young people from the community learning opportunities outside of school and alternative leisure time, so they can continue to develop personally and professionally and be more motivated to be young with potential. Of their special interest are the relations with the immigrants, their history, culture, art, what gives to the project a strong hue of Interculturalism, and volunteers can learn a lot about different cultures.Among the objectives of the project we can emphasize the promotion of European citizenship, youth participation and cultural diversity, promote healthy lifestyles and active participation through recreation and leisure, inform the youth about learning opportunities: the volunteers will collaborate in the service of information and advice to local youth of LORCA about the European mobility programs and learning, focusing on Erasmus + and EVS and will act as multipliers of a unique and enriching experience for personal and professional youth growth. The Youth Centre act to mobilize youth, in this particular case have been running information days about Erasmus+, with which they work daily, besides working with young people on issues of democracy, promoting cultural diversity and tolerance, human rights, equality etc… In turn, the project activities will also help to raise the quality of the activities within the organization and bring new vital energy with the work of volunteers and their learning process. Participation means not only taking part or being present in the activities, but also refers to observe and know the actions and views you have and how to act - leading to the empowerment of young people participating in project activities.Cazalla aim to empower young people and the strengthening of civil society through getting that young people are increasingly involved in the life of the local community, to increase their sense of belonging and empowerment to act and make their life better. In addition, it will seek to encourage and promote the creativity and entrepreneurship of volunteers, giving them tools to develop their own initiative, a project at the local level, based on the needs of each of the volunteers and supported throughout the process by mentors and experts from the hosting organization. Finally , the project will engage the young people with fewer opportunities, unemployed youth with economic difficulties, to take this vital experience and gain knowledge and attitudes in order to return home with more experience and more motivation and have more opportunities as young job seekers and young entrepreneurs.
