Through the project: “Agritourism – Present & Future”, 15 students from the 10th grade, class profile: “Natural resources and environmental protection”, with qualifications in Agriculture – Agritourism technician, will have the opportunity to do 90 hours of practice from curriculum in Portugal, in restaurants, in a partnership between Technical High school: “Tara Motilor” – Albac being the recipient and AFPDM the schools partner from Portugal. The project objective is: developing key competences, important for future activities at jobs, like teamwork, speaking a foreign language, the ability to adapt to new requirements of a dynamic economic environment. The project will contribute at solving an inconsistency between the work force required at regional level and the one offered. The topics that will be addressed are related to the practice module: “The preparation of dishes – food services”, with duration of 3 weeks, between: 19.04.2015 – 09.05.2015. The students will be placed in restaurants in Portugal, under the guidance of a specialized tutor. They will be doing tasks specific to domain like: selecting objects necessary for making drinks, carry and handle objects necessary for delivery of drinks, prepare basic food, aperitifs and desserts, ensure cleanliness and maintenance of used items, and arrange the main eating area. They will acquire professional and language skills. The results and the impact: Fifteen participants will work in restaurants in mixed teams and will develop a team work spirit, an ability to professionally communicate with each other, a better understanding of life style in Portugal, improving the working perspective and the feeling of been an European citizen. The project will impact the quality of service in agritourism. Through the project the training at European standards of agritourism technicians is ensured for 15 students who will be able to exploit the agritouristic potential of The Valley of Aries, and contribute to the development of Alba County. The development of a partnership ECVET is initiated through MoU an LA forms which will ensure a high quality of international practice sessions and increase the volume of mobility. The validation of the training will be done based on mobility documents (Europass), and the recognition of the training will be based on OM4931/29.07.2008 through grades. We consider that the project will help the students to get involve in European working environment, sustainability being ensured by developing new projects and support materials for organizing the training. All this will ensure the continuity of the project.
