The project which is called Agropractice 3 appeared as continuation of two previous projects of professional internship of students from MSŠZe and VOŠ Opava, p.o. (Masaryk´s Secondary School of Agriculture and Higher Professional School of Opava, allowance organization). This project is about internship of two groups of participants held in a foreign country. The first and second internship course is to be held on the family farm of Ms Eleni Andronikidu in Preveza, Greece. The internships have been prepared for 13 students from the branches of Agrobusiness, Farmer and Gardener as well as 2 accompanying persons. The internships will take place in 14 day time periods of October 2016 and 2017. This practice will be held in agricultural companies which deal with growing fruit vegetables and also other local products, preferably olives and vine.Project participants will take part in growing of vegetables. They will learn about typical Greek crops, new technologies, equipment and procedures, watering, harvesting, selling, marketing of small farms and also environmental rules in this type of agriculture. During their stay, the students will keep records in the practice day-book which has been prepared in cooperation with the manager of training program and the school principal.ECVET Learning Unit that has been created is called "Growing of Fruit Vegetables". Its clearly defined procedures and contracting shall provide required quality of this internship and hence its inclusion in evaluation of the school subject called Professional Practice. This project will be crucial for participants not only due to motivation for successful professional and personal growth but also due to personal experience from abroad related to communication in a foreign language and their self-made work.Organic farming and agro-tourism require perfectly planned business activities, originality, innovation approach and also knowledge and experience in the branch. Participants may gain all of them during practice in Greece if they carefully look around and plant new information into the framework of knowledge acquired at school.Improvement of language skills will increase their competitiveness in the labour market and also allow them to find information in foreign-language books or websites, which greatly broaden their horizons. We are also expecting some growth of interest in studies and professionalism. Participants will be able to connect experienced information with theoretical training at school. It is an ideal chance for the school to give an opportunity to talented students and motivate them with the SPU.
