Aglona Boarding Secondary school is municipal school, which is situated in the East part of Latvia. There study 99 students from Aglona, Latgale area and Riga. The school carries out 2 educational programmes: General basic education and General upper secondary school. There are 34 pedagogical personnel including supporting staff in our school. The main goal of the project is Improving school authority and pedagogical personnel competence in order to upgrade the quality of learning process and school environment. Project Objectives:1 For school authority : To get acquainted with educational system of Finland as well as the learning process in General school. 2. For pedagogical personnel :To improve ICT and digital competence, language competence. 3. For pedagogical personnel : To design material for all learner types ,creative teaching methodologies,to help teachers manage their own professional development. 4. For pedagogical personnel : To master different teaching and learning techniques, responding to different individual needs. 5. For all mobility participants: To evaluate, summarize and establish results of acquainted experience. 6. For all mobility participants: To develop wide comprehension about education in certain EU country, assimilate experience from EU colleges.Four activities were established , one for one participant : 1. Structured Study visit to School. 2. Course: ICT and digital competence. 3. Course: Inclusive education: tackling with classroom diversity and early school leaving. 4. Course: Reflective Teacher. The main criteria for evaluation project outcome is improving mobility participants competence in order to upgrade the quality of learning process and school environment. We expect that project implementation improves the quality of learning process, school image and it gets more recognizable. Updating of teacher professional skills and using them in learning process ensure project long term impact.
