It is our aim to expand our school's identity by focusing on teaching modern languages and its methodological background. This project should especially encourage our high-performance students. Their motivation, passion and knowledge should therefore be broadened and nurtured. It will be essential to improve the quality of English lessons in general. The project group will comprise 10-12 students who take part voluntarily. The students will improve/strengthen their- methodological competences: study of film, music, and new media, etc.- language competence by constantly using and communicating in the target language - intercultural communicative competence Heterogeneity is a huge part of our school's identity. This project group pays tribute to that self-conception. High-performance students are often left behind in 'normal' classroom activities. We want to provide these students with a platform on which they get to know new methods of language acquisition and usage. We want them to become experts and to serve as role models for other students ('peer-teaching').Finally, there will be a feedback-sheet, which enables students and parents alike to help and comment on the project. Only by receiving feedback, teachers will be able to help students to improve their language skills in the future.
