The project " Adventure Dreams & Hopes” focused on hosting 3 volunteers from three partner organizations: Turkey, Romania and Greece for 12 months from 2014-12-01 to 2015-12-02 in Botkyrka, Stockholm, Sweden. The main theme of the project revolved around ensuring a non-formal and intercultural learning experience for youngsters with difficult backgrounds (regardless of their ethnicity, religion or social status), and encouraging social inclusion. The EVS volunteers were hosted in a long-term project and were involved in activities such as: assisting the staff of OPAD organization in the daily work, this included communication with new volunteer, supporting other volunteers especially in short term projects, preparing material for the new volunteers, support other volunteers in practical questions, worked with organization partner networks, The volunteer worked on the organization media project like making press releases for the website in English, worked on promoting EVS in social networks, interview Swedish and European volunteers, go to forums about EVS and Youth Exchanges, helped in organizing workshops, creative cultural Activity , uploading information etc. The objectives were to provide opportunities for social and personal growth of volunteers and youngsters from hosting communities along with organizational and community sustainable development by bringing added value to existing activities and implementing new ones which stimulate the intercultural learning process, encouraging active participation of youngsters, especially those with fewer opportunities and strengthen the international partnership. The project aims were threefold: Increasing volunteers social and personal development Community development and increased participation of Young People Partnership development - encouraging local and international cooperation.
