Arskoli hopes to empower its learning community and raise its standard of education further by sending some of its staff on organised school visits in other countries. The participants will get opportunities to get acquainted with projects that have been acknowledged as outstanding in its field. Fourteen members of Arskoli´s staff will visit three schools that are reputed and leading in literacy, drama and using games in teaching and learning. The participants from Arskoli will look into and be involved in elements that are considered the highlights of the above mentioned subjects in the reception schools. Thus the staff will be offered lectures, lesson observations, staff meetings and conversations with teachers and pupils. An educational conference in maths will also be attended. The essential aim of these school visits is to increase the awareness of professionalism in Arskoli. When at home the staff is made responsible for introducing the newly gained knowledge for their co-workers and employ it within the schools community in Arskoli. In this way the learning community will become more effective.
