ADAFOR aims to find common solutions to ensure sustainable forestry management within the cross-border area. Achievements: The ADAFOR project partners seek common solutions to ensure sustainable management of forests. They are carrying out cross-border diagnostics and audits, collecting consistent data which is shared on both sides of the Channel, assessing barriers to the renewal of forests and making a cross-border inventory of fuel wood. These field activities are being carried out in direct contact with public and private forest managers, and they will be completed by awareness-raising tools to educate the public.
