We present this project , the result of hours of reflection and consensus, with the greatest illusion. We are a French bilingual school , one of the few of Andalusia, and the difficult task of teaching this minority language to our students has given to us , despite the exaggerated pressure from the powerful English language in society.
Since our task is to teach French, either by itself or through other areas ( Natural Sciences, Social Sciences , Physical Education , Arts and Music ) , it is our duty to be trendy in bilingual methodology and , needless to say , the use of the French language. And , although it is assumed that in all areas is required to be updated, in languages, this obligation becomes necessary.
Therefore , we developed this project, in which seven teachers participated in our school , namely 2 specialists of French bilingual primary , 2 of French foreign language , 1 of physical education, 1 of French bilngüe , 1 French bilingual music and 1 of pre-school .
The main priorities of our project are :
- Improving knowledge of the French language to ensure optimal teaching it.
- The updating of knowledge about French culture (better know the current life in France ) .
- To acquire key skills in teaching French as a foreign language ( FLE ) .
- Incorporate new methodological trends in teaching French .
- Establish partnerships with other Europeans to then carry out projects in the eTwinning platform and medium term , lead to a project encompassed in Key Action 2 ( KA2 ) partners .
We hope these activities leading to the following results: As teachers , provides for the development and acquisition of new skills when it comes to teaching French language refers as well as the development of skills in French. This improvement in teacher training should positively impact the teaching-learning process and this benefits the students , who also enjoy futures exchanges. Meanwhile, for the center would be a breath of fresh air , and definitely boost the bilingual project, which is currently something stuck.
IIn short , this is a great opportunity to progress personally and professionally that automatically repercussions towards the nearly 450 students who pass through our hands every year.
