The project objectives are summarized as follows:• enabling joint approaches to common accessibility issues and challenges the ports need to tackle,• facilitating the adoption of common accessibility practices through developing, implementing and financing joint actions,• strengthening and promoting cross-border collaboration, transfer of knowledge and exchange of experience not only among the consortium members, but also among citizens of the area and beyond, stakeholders and tourists, resulting to sustainable networks and services for customer satisfaction.Furthermore, the proposal aims to contribute on creating an institutional framework, to maximize the benefits to be gained by the new conditions, eliminate the prevailing barriers, improve the quality of service provided to port users, make the ports more competitive, increase the efficiency and flexibility, reduce the cost of transport, increase employment, promote Liner - Cruise shipping and combined transport, removal of barriers in practices, policies and procedures
