Project’s participants – graduates of the following professions: builders – constructions finishers, electromechanics, cooks – waiters and accountants. Projects’ coordinator and sending organizations: Kaišiadorys School of Business and Technology (KSBT). Hosting organization: IZI Ltd. (trading as Easy Job Bridge) in Malta. Project’s main goal: in terms of the internship provide graduates with possibilities to acquire new professional skills and competences, to achieve better employment opportunities in near future, to educate entrepreneurship, raise participants’ initiative skills, awareness and understanding of other cultures and increase self-confidence. Other objectives: 1. to improve specific professional competences of participants; 2. to educate main common competences (entrepreneurship, initiative skills, self-sufficiency, team work skills and abilities to work in business environment); 3. to achieve better employment opportunities and improve perspectives of future career; 4. to educate participants’ sociability, awareness and understanding of other cultures, tolerance, self-esteem and self-confidence; 5. improve foreign language and communicative skills, broaden cultural outlook. Project participant’s professional requirements: • to acquire specific professional competences: - for electromechanics: to know how to install and maintain electricity system’s protection against surge and fluctuation of voltage; to be able to install electricity installation in areas of high humidity. - for builders – construction finishers: to know how to use ceramic, stone-made and marble-made bricks in the decoration of interior and exterior; to be able to use natural stone in the building works. - for cooks-waiters: to be able to prepare dishes, which contains fish and seafood; to know how to decorate and serve tables for dishes, containing seafood. - for accountants: to know how to use electronic systems of documents’ preparation and declaration, e-banking; to be able to do stocktaking and accounting of invoices. • to acquire main common competences: entrepreneurship, initiative skills, self-sufficiency, team work skills and abilities to work in business environment; • to raise the level of main professional skills and competences, especially taking into consideration their correspondence to labor market and contribution to society; • to acquire better occupation and employment opportunities, improve perspectives of future career; • to achieve, that acquired competences would be recognized in whole EU. Individual requirements of the participants: • to improve and deepen foreign language and communicative skills in foreign environment; • to introduce with hosting country’s culture and history; • to raise the level of self-esteem, self confidence and sociability; • to raise the level of awareness and understanding of other cultures; • to acquire new contacts which may be useful in the future. Expected project’s results: • Completed professional training under the internship program; • Acquired internship’s evaluation certificates – Europasses, certificates of IZI Ltd. and KSBT; • Made reports of internships; • Raised level of the participants’ professional competences according to their professional requirements; • Improved practical skills of participants giving better integration possibilities in Lithuania’s EU’s labor markets; • Improved language and cross-cultural communication skills of participants; • Raised level of participants’ self-confidence, initiative skills, entrepreneurship, sociability as well as tolerance and cultural awareness. Acquired professional competences participants may use in their future occupation in Lithuania and other EU members, they will achieve better employment opportunities. As the evaluation of acquired and improved skills and competences, every participant will acquire: • Europass mobility document; • Certificate of hosting organization (IZI Ltd.) • Certificate of sending organization (Kaišiadorys School of Business and Technology) Project’s dissemination will be addressed to entrepreneurs, youth, local authorities and society of Kaišiadorys and surrounding districts; present and future students of KSBT, their parents, teachers and school’s community; potential trainees of IZI Ltd in Malta. Methods of project’s dissemination: stands, articles in web-pages and regional newspapers, booklets about project, presentations of the internships and consideration of project’s results. The project will be implemented in 2014 06 01 – 2015 05 31. During this period there will be one internship in Malta. Total amount of participants – 10.
