In a time Europe is moving towards a real Union, the Vocational School Anhalt-Bitterfeld (Berufsbildende Schulen Anhalt-Bitterfeld) wants to take an active role in this development. In pursuit of a clearer understanding of European processes and an estimation of our skills and needs of further training we want to get knowledge regarding educational structures, work processes, learning methods and political and cultural circumstances. Furthermore we are interested in finding opportunities to improve language skills and to gain international experiences. Therefore 15 teachers of our school are going to discuss with their Latvian colleagues commonalities and differences of both education systems. In a second step 15 students of our school are going to meet students of our Latvian partner. The experiences made in this project shall influence the development of our school.
