The training course with participants from Romania, Turkey, Latvia, Austria, France, Poland and Germany aims at combatting discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation. After an initial exchange about the situation regarding discrimination and violence against sexual minorities in each of the participating countries and a self-reflection about own experiences as victims and perpetrators of discrimination, ideas and measures are developed, how to recognise and reduce homophobia and the normativity of heterosexuality. Impulses and project examples shall be drawn especially from the field of human rights education.
