A.Th.E.Net - Anticipation of Training Needs for European Network

The A.Th.E.Net project will undergo an analysis of European Institutions and Social Partners with regard to both existing training expertise and current training needs with the aim of improving the design and implementation of labour market and training policy.The project will develop a comparative overview of methodologies used by the different partners in the analysis of training needs, will produce a revised, common strategy for the analysis of training needs (for both European Institutions and Social Partners) and will undergo a feasibility study concerning a common network and system of communication for the exchange of best practice at European level. The results of which will be produced both in paper-based and electronic (web-based) formats.The target groups of the project include Social Partners; representatives of sectoral organisations; vocational training policy makers/decision makers; trainers, designers & managers of training programmes.Dissemination of the outcomes and achievements of the project is planned through an internet showcase of the results (project & partner websites), through national workshops and via a final international conference.
