The project was intended to perform a job shadowing experience to analyze and evaluate the possibility of creating a 3rd year of specialization for our course "Applications development".
Our partner St. John's College of Cork has a course called "Videogames design". We wanted to examine the structure and details ot this course in order to adapt it to our 3rd year of our Apps development degree.
The participants were the head of the IT Department and the Assistant Principal.
The following activities were undertaken:
- Atending and Assisting to the clases of the Videogames design course
- Meetings with teachers and related staff
- Accessing class materials
Results: We learned the teaching process and how the teaching program was put in motion. We also learned the structure of the course and decided how we could adapt it to our course.
Long-term benefits: We are ready to start our own videogame development course.
