A Referential Model of Continuous Vocational Training for the Acquisition and Recognition of Cross-Sectoral Professional Competencies in eWork - eWork LearNet

The eWork LearNet project will design, develop and introduce a vocational training programme which will allow the acquisition of cross-sectoral skills for distance working (eWork). Activities will include: comparative analysis of the range of certification and accreditation systems in place in the partner countries (considering the fact that the end project results will be submitted for accreditation); identification and classification of the cross-sectoral professional competencies specific to eWork; development of a training curriculum and an outline training programme; development of training content; development of a system for evaluation of the training programme; production of multimedia training tools and eventual piloting of the developed training programme and tools. The project will result in a skills map for distance working (eWork); a series of training materials and tools for the acquisition of skills in eWork (available online and on CD-Rom); a trainers guide for teletrainers (eMentors); a Quality Charter outlining the desirable standards for eWork training providers and outline methodology for the evaluation of eWork skills acquisition (either as a result of training provision or in the assessment of prior learning). Dissemination will make use of ICT (web-links, e-mailing lists, web forums) and of existing partner networks.
