The Municipality of Budaörs and the Slovakian Nová Vieska used the awarded grantfor drawing up a register of the region’s natural assets and a brochure promotingthem. They also published a bilingual teaching tool and workbook for primaryschools on the topic with the purpose of increasing the students’ awareness of natureprotection issues as well as launching a related website and a CD-ROM. Both settlementshosted a student conference for Hungarian and Slovak students. Budaörs also organizeda drawing and photo exhibition addressing the issue of nature protection.
