Search for European Projects

A magyar erdész és lovász fiatalok külföldi tapasztalatszerzése
Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: May 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

The coordinator of the application (NAERDI) has already taken part in numerous successful Mobility Projects financed by the EU. Our Institution operates as a background entity of the Ministry of Agriculture, in three main areas with about 100 workers: in rural development, vocational advisory activities, vocational training. Since our operation we have close and personal connections with agricultural vocational schools. These connections inducted our former applications, and from the success of these we would like to involve more vocational areas and schools with the help of Erasmus+. As for vocational students, it is more and more difficult to find proper and valuable trainings, which are also good opportunities to improve their language skills. It is a regrettable fact, that this skill mentioned above is quite poor, which is generated by the few number of language lessons, the shortage of professional teachers, financial problems and the lack of motivation of the students. Therefore we would like to help to solve a part of the problem with give chance to students who are motivated to learn and improve themselves to travel abroad: Germany. Our cadre personnel would be 36. Between 2015-2017, they would travel to Germany in 4 groups. While they would gain experience in their field, they could improve and use German as well. Coming back from their internship, they will be able to take an intermediate language exam. The members of the groups will spend six weeks abroad; the first week works as a kind of „foundation”: the students will know each other better, and their language skills will be measured, furthermore they will get a mental training. The forester students would travel during the end of summer of 2015 and then 2016 as a part of their education in Hungary. The groom students would travel in 2016 and 2017 Spring. The schools has signed their Letters of Interest to express their intent of cooperation with our Institution. Our connections are confirmed by the positive feedback recieved from former members of our Mobility Programs. The students coming back from their internship can give their experiences to the prospective travelers. The mentors always dutifully took their part in connection with the students in foreign countries. We have established a good personal connection with every partners, and we regularly ask their opinions about the students. Our partners were always satisfied with the Hungarian students: their work and achievements as well.
