A projekt megvalósításá hozzájárul a határrégió társadalmi-gazdasági fejleszlődéséhez a határmenti térség elérhetőségének javításával. Konkrét célunk a határ mentén fekvő települések jobb megközelíthetőségének biztosítása a Ráróspuszta - Rároš határhídhoz kapcsolódóan a határhoz vezető, s a határ két oldalán fekvő településeket összekötő utak felújításával./ Realizáciou projektu sa prispieva k zvýšeniu úrovne hospodárskej a sociálnej integrácie prihraničnej oblasti prostredníctvom zlepšenia ich dostupnosti. Špecifickým cieľom projektu je zlepšenie dostupnosti obcí pozdĺž hranice s napojením na hraničný most Rároš - Ráróspuszta realizáciou rekonštrukcie povrchu vozoviek, ktoré vedú k hranici, a spájajú obce pozdĺž hranice. Achievements: The construction of a bridge across the border river Ipeľ/Ipoly between villages of Rároš and Rárospuszta financed from the HU-SK CBC programme opened up new opportunities and challenges in the field of cross-border development. To effectively fulfil the role of a bridge, there was also a need to improve the cross-border mobility of people and goods crossing the border. This project resolved this situation by reconstruction of the roads leading to the bridge which were not in proper technical conditions on the route to Lučenec - Rároš on the Slovak side and Szécsény - Ipolytartóc on the Hungarian side. The project implementation resulted in a significant improvement of the state of cross-border transport infrastructure leading to the border and linking communities along the border.
