The "A Experiência Portuguesa" is aimed at a general objective of Erasmus + (Student mobility in vocational education and training) within interchange foster, cooperation and mobilities between education and training systems within the European Community to provide improved quality of the educational process. The project by its nature is geared to improving initial vocational training in vocational, language, communication and socio - cultural field. The sending institution is the Secondary Technical School AGC (Teplice, Czech Republic), the receiving organization is APLICAPROPOSTA LDA - Mob Braga (Braga, Portugal). This institution offers extensive experience in the mobilities of participants in initial vocational and lifelong learning within the projects of the former program Leonardo da Vinci and Lifelong Learning Program. The main objectives of the internship are: - The support for trainees and students - To acquire new and develop existing knowledge, skills and qualifications - To improve the quality of preparation for future labour market - To improve the ability to communicate in a foreign language The project results are to improve the quality of personal development and better to prepare participants for entry into the labour market (national and European) as well as the establishment of broader contacts and further development of cooperation between our and foreign institutions , including regional companies. For the sending and receiving institution project will continue in the future by creating new or deepening the already established contacts and mutual transfer of the best experiences. The objectives set for placement: - To acquire key competences in initial vocational training (especially working with information technologies) - Tight connection with working life - To obtain higher qualifications - To increase personal skills Students who are going to attend of internship are located in two subjects - Economy and Business and Information Technology, which guarantee the following competencies: Information Technology: - Design and implementation of hardware solutions - Maintenance of IT Resources - Programming, database and web solutions - Installation and management of applications and operating systems - Design, implementation and administration of networks - User support in IT Economics and Business: - Evidence in the corporate and business - Sales organization and expansion of services - Commercial contracts - Accounting and tax records using information technology - Market research - Environmental protection Implementation of the two-week participant’s internship are expected in the period October-November 2014. According to the current conditions it is going to be implemented 10 students and one pedagogical accompaniment (some of students have not yet adult). The social status or long-term benefit in school it won't be taken into consideration, but we will set the group equal representation of boys and girls if possible both interested in participating in the project and who are able to communicate in English language. Special needs are given to participants in the extension of knowledge in those subjects which are not usually implemented to their study programme and further getting the specific experiences within of foreign companies in which the internship will be placed. Professional content of internship is in agreement with the intermediary organizations selected to match the studied fields, i.e. work with computer, graphics, programming, data mining, activity in the field of tourism, accounting and business correspondence and legal acts. They are also considered only those companies in which it possible to communicate in English, and whose main activities are: The field of Information Technology: - The using of modern technology - Web application design and web graphics - Microprocessors programming systems - Office and communication - The use of information technologies for working with data The field of economics and business: - Administrative techniques of work - Office Applications - Economy and Investment - Governmental institutions - Market research - Consulting in the finance areas The project is important in many other aspects. In addition to the main objectives of the development of students for professional and personal aspects, leads to acquire new knowledge and skills and thereby improve the application of the national labour market and facilitate entry into the European market work. All is linked with the objectives of the Lifelong Learning Programme. Improving the studying quality creates better conditions for further study at university and general application in professional live after graduation. In the long term it is a tool how to influence both regional and national levels of unemployment and encourage the migration of skilled workers under the EU labour market.
