"A European challenge for young languages: comics and youth" is a multidisciplinary project designed by two departments of Cremona Municipality: Youth Policies office and Comics Centre " Andrea Pazienza ". This project aims at involving the volunteers in the implementation of different educational, artistic, sporting, training and guidance activities for young people in the town of Cremona (target 0-29 years ). We are looking for two volunteers from two different countries, motivated and proactively interested in developing knowledge, skills and abilities in planning multidisciplinary activities for young people. Volunteers will be involved in artistic expressive workshops , theater activities, organization of music events, sporting events, communication and dissemination of information about opportunities for young people (EVS) and in the management and implementation of a library dedicated to comics . The project is implemented through educational and training methodologies based on non-formal and informal education provided by a staff with dynamic and multi-tasking skills and strong competencies in the fields of training , guidance and education of young people. The project aims at spreading the knowledge and understanding of the opportunities offered by the experiences of European Voluntary Service building capacities and skills that the volunteers can use even in the professional field . The long-term benefits of the project are : increase in the number of requests for access to European Voluntary Service projects , increase the number of projects to host European volunteers .
