In this project, we will investigate the quantum properties of nanoscale mechanical resonators. Suspended structures will be made of Al, SiN, GaAs, carbon nanotubes, and photonic crystals, covering frequencies in the MHz and GHz range. The vibrations will be excited by electrical means.
