2016 Financial support for the EQF NCP in the Czech Republic

The general objective of the project EQF NCP 2016 is to support both EQF milestones, namely referencing of national qualifications systems to the European reference levels and referencing to the appropriate EQF level on qualification certificates, diplomas and Europass documents issued by the competent authorities through the further promotion and development of the EQF and learning outcomes approach in the Czech Republic. This means further support and promotion of the EQF and learning outcomes approach in the Czech Republic and establishment of the comprehensive Czech qualifications framework. In 2016 the NCP EQF will focus on these objectives. Consultation and discussion on the establishment of the comprehensive Czech qualifications framework among wide range of the stakeholders. Special attention will be on work on updating the National referencing report of the Czech Republic and continuing work on development of common descriptors as a base for Czech qualifications framework with relevant stakeholders and partners. Close cooperation will continue with the developers of the National Register of Qualifications (NSK) related to VNFIL. The NCP EQF is a part of the National Institute for Education, which serves as contact points of other European transparency tools as Europass, ECVET and EQAVET. Close cooperation with other national and international networks such as national correspondent to the QF-EHEA, ENIC/NARIC, National Information Centre for Youth, EUROGUIDANCE, Eurydice, EURES, etc. will be promoted. EQF levels are presently indicated at the most documents. Further discussion concerning indicating EQF level on HE Diploma supplement will be closely discussed with ENIC/NARIC, QF-EHEA and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. Further awareness among all the citizens about the EQF as a transparency instrument helping education and working mobility.
