About Me

Rita Grandinetti (1963, Argentinian) is Doctor in Innovation, Territory and Competitiveness at the Politechnical University of Valencia, MSc in Political Sciences and Sociology by the Faculty Latin American of Ciencias Sociales (FLACSO) and graduated in Political Science with Public Administration Specialization at the National University of Rosario, Argentina, where he is a regular Professor and Director of Public Administration ;

She is researcher on innovation, organization, and development in local governments. She has published numerous articles in refereed journals as well as the author of various book chapters. In addition, she is the principal editor of four books.

She is member of the Instituto de Gestión de Ciudades (IGC), and in the last years she has developed an important experience in leading and management of change processes in programs, projects and public organizations at local and international level. In the field of analysis and capacity building for public policies management.

She has also an excellent trajectory in the Coordination of multiple actions of Development and Training: Transatlantic Open Government Virtual Education – TOGiVE (Erasmus Project 2015-2017), Agro Policies in Latin America for FODEPAL (FAO/AECI 2002-2008); training courses for the International Network of Educational Cities (2007).
