The second call for applications of the Interreg Baltic Sea Programme will be launched on 1 March 2016 as a two-step call. The deadline for applications will be 1 June 2016.

The call covers the priorities:

  • 1: Capacity for innovation
  • 2: Management of natural resources
  • 3: Sustainable transport

The Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme 2014-2020 supports integrated territorial development and cooperation for a more innovative, better accessible and sustainable Baltic Sea region. Partners from countries around the Baltic Sea work together in transnational projects on common key challenges and opportunities.

Timeline:

  • Call open, step 1: 1 March – 1 June 2016
  • Selection of concept notes by the Monitoring Committee: September 2016
  • Call open, step 2: September 2016 – January 2017
  • Selection of projects for funding by the Monitoring Commitee: May 2017

The timeline might be adjusted depending on the number of concept notes received.The agreement is still subject to official approval by the Monitoring Committee at the end of February.
