Call description

The EUREKA  supports projects of any type of technological area, provided they have a civil purpose. In Spain it is therefore possible to support projects in any sector, while in Slovenia projects should also be assigned to one of the areas of the Slovenian Specialization Strategy, which is why it is recommended to submit project applications that can fit within their Priority areas:

  • HEALTHY WORKING AND LIVING ENVIRONMENT (Smart cities and communities, Smart buildings and homes, including wood chain)
  • NATURAL AND TRADITIONAL RESOURCES FOR THE FUTURE (Networks for the transition to circular economy, Sustainable food production, Sustainable tourism)
  • (S) INDUSTRY 4.0 (Factories of the Future (FoF), Health - medicine, Mobility, Development of materials as end products)

Eligibility criteria

Applications between Slovenian and Spanish partners must meet the following requirements:

  • At least one Slovenian company and one Spanish company must participate. Research centers and universities can intervene as subcontractors, or as partners if they are self- financing.
  • Project partners should express a willingness to cooperate on equal terms with the development of a new industrial product, process or service. The product, process or service must be innovative and there must be a technological risk.
  • Companies from other countries can also participate, but should contact their national EUREKA Office in advance.

Applications must be submitted before 9 October 2017 to both the Spanish and Slovenian EUREKA Office.

Services

Both EUREKA Offices will provide the necessary advice to submit applications, manage the EUREKA Seal and provide access to public funding for projects that receive such a seal. Both the international processing and the financing of the proposals will be carried out at the national level, according to the procedures and regulations of each country.

It is recommended that each partner contact their agency.
