Specific Challenge:

The focus of the topic is the development of technologies for enhancing the gear strength, specifically through cavitation peening, on high loaded applications. The applicant shall:
• Define the optimal parameters for the cavitation peening process.
• Process appropriate T/As through an optimised cavitation peening system
• Test the T/A for confirming higher achieved mechanical properties
