Relevant competences

LCU is involved in the project mainly through its research center “DASIC”. The DASIC deals with exploring the possibilities offered by new technologies with the aim of innovating production processes, administration and consumables. The group carries out research aimed to examine how the ICT and digital convergence process could affect the lives of citizens and the administration of the territories. The center, therefore, taking advantage of the possibilities offered by new technologies of communication and information, analyzes the relationship between institutions and City User (defined as resident and non-resident population) in a social and collaborative perspective, aimed at the simplification of the relationship itself.

Within the DASIC, the RRI research Unit will act horizontally among all the scientific, humanistic and technological activities of the Link Campus University, aiming at promoting the role of civil society in the broad innovation context. The short-to-medium targets of the RRI Unit are related to the scouting and validation of application of RRI models and integration with socio-economic policies, maintaining perspectives of innovative business models.
