The MISSION of our institue is to explore new functional and structural materials and related chemical technologies in the fields of i) sustainable environment and ii) sustainable health. In the first fiels, our activities cover environmental science, namely, the explanation and reduction of environmental impact of human activity, furthermore, the transformation of renewable energy sources. In the second field, focus is on soft materials important in medical biology, drug carriers, biosensors and processes taking place in them.
The synergy of our widespread expertise help to work out interdisciplinary research issues. Applied research is built upon fundamental research. By answering basic research questions, our research projects are aiming at solving certain social-economic-environmental problems. Our professional image is built by real matters.
