Microvascular dysfunction is a commun characteristic of aging, chronic inflammatory diseases, or Diabetes. This vascular dysfunction compromise normal organ function and contribute to their damage. In particular microvascular dysfunction could be involved in cardio-neuro-vascular diseases (CVD), cognitive impairement and frailty. Understanding the mechanisms of this vascular dysfunction is a chalenge to develop new thérapeutical strategies to limit age-related diseases.
