most of the works in the field of the modern city’s environment study only chemical types of pollution (gas and liquid emissions, solid waste, and so on). However, information flows are an important element of the city environment. The modern city as a habitat is an extremely dense flow of information with a strong stressful effect. This effect can be no less dangerous than the toxic effect of substancial types of dirt. A group of multidisciplinary researchers from the Project Baikal magazine is developing methods for measuring and monitoring information pollution in the urban environment. Everyone who is interested in the informational aspect of urban pollution is welcome to contact us.
