If your forthcoming EU-project (Horizon2020, Interreg, Erasmus+) utilizes variety of multimedia technologies, Lahti University of Applied Sciences from Finland could join the consortium and provide facilities and services as follows:   

  • The laboratory of media technology; the computers in a lab are equipped with software tools capable to produce 3D models and 3D animation. Also a few different game development softwares are constantly in use on projects which are made for the University as well as local and international companies.  Equipment around the use of 3D technologies consists of for example a 3D scanner, VR glasses (both HTC Vive and Oculus Rift), Full Body and Facial Motion Capture camera set to name a few. 3D modeling  and animation are the core for production of game-like environments, VR- and AR-applications for web, mobile-devices and VR-headsets
  • Laboratories at media studies include specialized computer labs, a large fully equipped photography studio, a video and audio post production facility with 4 professional suites and equipment for producing lens-based material and content. There are computer labs equipped for colour critical photo and video editing, graphic design, 3D animation, video post production and compositing. Production equipment includes different professional still and video cameras, audio production equipment and a comprehensive selection of different lighting equipment all with related stands, grips, dollies etc.
