The GOvernance & Administration of Leisure and Sports International Master (GOALS) is a joint Master programme organised by four leading European universities in the field of sports management. This unique Master programme is dedicated to meet students’ needs as future professionals in several settings within the fields of sport, management, leisure and recreation. Sport’s growing economic, political and social significance creates a corresponding need for professionally well-trained sports managers. To this end, the University of Lille (France), the University of Lisbon (Portugal), Mykolas Romeris University (Lithuania), and Nicolaus Copernicus University (Poland) joined forces to create an innovative study programme and provide a balanced integration of theory, practical experience, empirical research and policy analysis. This Master programme offers students many opportunities to pursue their academic and professional objectives. Upon completion of this joint degree, students are prepared for a range of careers in sport management, they will be employed in educational, non-profit and/or private companies’ settings such as professional clubs, sport management firms, universities, youth organisations, sports commissions from national to international level, retail sporting goods, event and venue management and/or sports marketing and media.
