This Region is rich resource of cultural and historical memorials with weak publicity and presentation of these places.The aim of this project is to promote these currently less known historical and cultural memorials and improve the services to give full range touristic information and so motivate visitors for longer stays and holiday in these regions. Achievements: The Abaúj region is rich in cultural and historical landmarks with weak publicity for these places. The goal of the project was to promote historical monuments on both sides of the border. The project partners are rich in monuments which were in poor conditions, without tourist services. The project\'s main activities were the reconstruction of a medieval fortress with setting up a museum inside and the reconstruction of 2 rooms of a manor house in Kluknava with setting up a tourist information centre and a seminar room. Also tools for destination management and promotional tools, including brochures, postcards, pens, DVDs, a web site, info boards about the history of Abaúj on both sides were created.
