Szkoła Jutra
Start date: Aug 1, 2016, End date: Dec 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

The project was designed to allow teachers and administrators of the School in Borne Sulinowo to acquire additional knowledge and skills, and its practical use in professional and personal development. The school is located in a small town and it is a combination of middle school and high school. Participants of the project are two English teachers, a physics teacher, a teacher involved in volunteering and a headmaster and deputy head of the school (who is also a biology teacher.). The interest of the project are trips for language courses abroad and the trip of our headmaster and other project participants to the partner school in Buxtehude, Germany. The first step will be to prepare our teachers linguistically through seminars with elements of cultural knowledge about a particular country before mobilities. The next step will be monitoring the operation of the school in Germany, the aim of which is to introduce innovative solutions in the organization of the school which will lead to higher quality of our school. The next stage of the project will be teachers’ mobility through language courses that will result in the introduction of elements of English during science subjects. Volunteers’ tutor will improve her language skills and thereby motivates students( volunteers) to learn new social skills and search for new forms of voluntary service through cooperation with volunteers in Buxtehude and to enter into common undertakings. All these activities are intended to increase the European dimension of our school. The last step will be to disseminate our work and share results of the project. The project is created to show that mobility in education is for everyone, including teachers, that European Schools have become more international and it is a matter of time before schools will introduce professional multilingual education especially in an era of competing schools to attract good students.
