The main aim of this project was the improvement of bilingual education (CLIL method) teaching skills of teachers in Zespol Szkol Fundacji "Szkola Gminna Menadzersko-Ksiegowa". This aim resulted from the school's plans to open classes with advanced English and literary, artisctic, mathematical and scientific education in Gimnazjum Menadzerskie which is a part of Zespol Szkol Fundacji "Szkola Gminna Menadzersko-Ksiegowa". In order to improve bilingual education teaching skills three English teachers, Marta Lupa, Karolina Wolsztyniak and Dominika Bartosiewicz, took part in teacher training courses concerned with CLIL methodology and organized by International Study Programmes. The first course titled "Collegiality Across CLIL", in which Marta Lupa took part, was conducted in July and it enabled the participant to improve teacher cooperation skills and provided her with the knowledge about CLIL methodology in teaching both humanities and science. The second course - "Humanities"- gave Karolina Wolsztyniak an opportunity to study CLIL methodology in reference to such subjects as history, geography, music, art, business and religious education. Dominika Bartosiewicz participated in the last course "Math and science" which was concerned with bilingual education in teaching maths, science, biology, chemistry and physics. The aforementioned courses enabled the school to meet all its needs which had been improvement of teachers cooperation, improvement of teaching skills in humanities, artistic and scientific subjects, planning the teaching process with reference to CLIL methodology and gaining an ability to create and assess bilingual education teaching materials. After the courses participants conducted a training for other teachers in Zespol Szkol Fundacji "SGMK" and a training session for teachers from other local schools with the aim of sharing knowledge, experience and teaching materials. The trainings described in the project helped the school to improve the level of teaching and, at the same time, to improve linguistic and subject-specific skills of pupils.
