Activities in Pärnu kindergarten Kelluke are aimed at improving the quality of the organization. Currently the organization has a special emphasis in learning new and modern teaching methods so that the workers can improve themselves in those areas. Special emphasis is the development of educational opportunities in the field of IT. There is a need to raise the IT field of expertise which supports innovative children and motivates them to study in a new perspective in teaching methods. Kindergarten workers IT professional development is important because that ensures high-quality development in this area and the staff would be willing to use IT tools as a learning opportunity in educational activities. For that the kindergarten has put together an IT team. The aim of the project is raising kindergartens IT team members awareness in digital skills and in their leadership putting all those knowledge’s in actual teaching methods. The learning mobility involves four kindergarten workers who are the members of the IT team. Marika Merila is the director of the kindergarten and also the leader of the team. She teaches Estonian as a second language in a children’s group of special needs. Jelena Paegle is a speech therapist in the children’s group of special needs and a member of the IT team. Julia Domaševa is a teacher and a member of the IT team, and finally Irina Maslovskaja is also a teacher and member of the IT team. Duration of the project is 12 months. The project is designed for the following activities: - joint meetings for participants in the learning mobility, intensive English language course, organizing the trips outside Estonia - going through the training in Cyprus " Web 2.0 Tools for Effective Teaching and Project Work" - feedback from the first training and preparations for the second training - going through the second training in Poland " Web 2.0 Tools for Effective Teaching and Project Work" - Feedback from the second training and planning all the learned lessons in kindergartens learning plan for the year of 2015-2016. - realization of the learning plan and evaluation of the project performance - wide-ranging coverage of the project The expected impact is very wild ranged - the rise of digital literacy in the IT team - increased quality in the kindergartens learning plan - new and innovative learning methods - raising another workers' digital competence - more results from the IT team in learning process and in the IT field As a result of the project we have high quality and modern teaching methods in educational activities also the use of IT through innovative learning methods on the basis of international experience and cooperation. The project is sustainable and its impact will continue long-term. For us learning is a continuous process of the analysis and development. IT professional development activities will also continue in the coming academic years. Development of IT in kindergarten will be in the hands of the IT team.
