Project " Teacher, switch on English to your lesson!" is an endeavour which was developed as a consequence of the needs diagnosed in Zespol Szkolno - Przedszkolny (Primary School) in Stobno Siodme. The main aim of the project is to improve the quality of work at the school, especially obtaining higher learning and teaching results, rising pupils' motivation to learn and expanding their exposure to English in different contexts and situations. Another aim of our project is to enhance teachers' professional profile by improving their language competences and applying innovative teaching methods. This aim of the project is convergent with the European Commission priority. The participants of the project will be eight teachers of history, natural science and art employed at Zespol Szkolno - Przedszkolny (Primary School) in Stobno Siodme, who can speak English at A1 level and C2 level. The project includes many activities( e.g. teacher training courses, job shadowing) which are focused on developing teachers' skills in order to teach pupils history, natural science and art through the innovative methodology of Content and Language Integrated Learning. The long - lasting effects of the project will include improving the work quality of the school, rising motivation, enthusiasm as well as awarness of the CLIL method and its sustainable benefits for pupils and their further education.
